The 2022 AFIGF featured discussions on some of today’s most pressing Internet governance and digital policy issues. The programme included over 52 sessions grouped into four main thematic tracks.

Cybersecurity

A conducive environment for cybercrime is created by limited public awareness and knowledge of the potential risks associated with cyberspace.

Digital skills

Investment in the digitalized capabilities of citizens underpinned by both technological and human capacity offers the most robust strategy for the future

Affordable Access

Meaningful access and affordability are crucial to ensure utilization of the Internet across the various socio-economic groups globally, more so in the African continent.

Digital infrastructure
